German Romantic road – Let’s explore here
The German romantic road is a beautiful road trip from Würzburg to Füssen in southern Germany, linking a number of picturesque towns and castles. It’s around is around 250 miles (400 km) long, and follows a medieval trade route.
It’s very popular amongst tourist due to the amazing architecture in many of the towns and villages, and the superb Cinderella-Disney-style Neuschwanstein castle at the end.
Accommodation is plentiful along the route, although some were clearly taking the fame of the route into their pricing. We found it best to look around off the direct route!
