New Zealand road trip – Let’s explore here
On our last New Zealand road trip, we arrived in Auckland and hired a car to travel around North Island and a camper van to explore South Island. We also took the Coastal Pacific train from Picton to Christchurch, which provides lovely view of the Kaikōura coastline.
This is the route that we took through New Zealand on our travels:
Auckland – Whangarei – Tutukaka – Hamilton – Rotorua – Lake Taupo – Wellington – Picton – Christchurch – Lake Tekapo – Queenstown – Manapouri – Dunedin – Timaru – Christchurch – Auckland
