North America road trip – Let’s explore here!

This is a very rough map of our proposed North America road trip via the mainland. Due to the uncertainty of conflict in a number of areas in Central America, this route will undoubtedly change.

We have a more detailed map of our planned road trip through Canada.

We would also like to spend some dedicated time journeying through most, if not all, of the states in the USA. We have road trips planned to visit all the states via landmarks and all the states via cities.

What countries does the route pass through?

Our route travels from eastern Canada, across the country’s width to Vancouver, before heading southwards through the USA, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

The overland journey ends in Panama due to the Darien Gap – an impassable jungle border between Panama and Colombia.
