South America road trip – Let’s explore here!

This is a very rough map of our proposed South America road trip via the mainland. The route starts in Colombia and journeys along the west coast of South America, through Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and Venezuela.

Also, as we travel to each South American country, we will no doubt change our route considerably in order to explore everywhere 🙂

Due to the uncertainty of conflict in a number of areas, this pan-continental route will most likely change. Our planned route is about 18,900 miles (30,415 km) long.

The route started in Colombia due to the Darien Gap – an impassable jungle border between Panama and Colombia.
