The Netherlands is a collection of states and territories owned by its monarch. Most of the kingdom is located in western Europe, although it also consists of a number of islands in the Caribbean, such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius and Sint Maarten.

In Europe it has land borders with Belgium and Germany. On Sint Maarten, it has a land border with France.

By the way, the country officially dropped its support of the name Holland for the whole country in January 2022.
